Tehran’s Niavaran Cultural Center has opened the 9th edition of the ‘Seven Views’ (Haft Negah) expo, an art exhibition organized by seven major galleries.

Tehran’s Niavaran Cultural Center has opened the 9th edition of the ‘Seven Views’ (Haft Negah) expo, an art exhibition organized by seven major galleries.

More than 300 paintings, sculptures and calligraphic works created by 280 artists are put on sale at the exhibition since December 22.

The works are being sold at reasonable prices, Lili Golestan, secretary of ‘Seven Views’ told the media during a press release published on Friday.

“The high quality of the works was more important than the quantity of them, and this has been satisfactory for me as one of the organizers,” she added.

The participating galleries at the exhibition are Aria, Elaheh, Dey, Golestan, Haft Samar, Vaali as well as Mah-e Mehr, all from Tehran.

Aria Eqbal, the director of Aria Gallery appreciated the quality of the works and expresses his happiness about the good prices.

“Every year we try to be stricter in choosing the works for the expo and we have had positive feedback from the visitors, which is very important,” he also noted.

The works on sale at the event are being priced from approximately 75 to 25,000 US dollars.

Having launched the 1st edition in 2006, the 9th edition of the exhibition will be running until January 6.
